Are the warnings in the ChatGPT system promoting the belief users are racist or does the system believe users to be hyper-sensitive with the sometimes-flawed output of a nascent system?
Have you noticed something different about ChatGPT lately? There’s a large disclaimer on the screen before you can actually input prompts to the system. In a nutshell, the disclaimer says, “Don’t blame us if there’s an offensive output to your prompt. This is a new system.” Here’s what it actually says:
