Intersectional women face at least two extra taxes their peers don’t face. Race and gender affect how much they’re paid and the experience they have while earning that lesser paycheck.

Almost a quarter of workers in tech experienced some form of racism last year, according to a survey of 2,500 tech workers in the U.S. by Dice, a tech employment agency and knowledge base.
